We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Solution Architect to support exciting AI and Gen AI transformation initiatives for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and design secure, scalable technology solutions aligned with DWP standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Engage with DWP stakeholders to understand business challenges and solution requirements
• Identify suitable AI and Gen AI solutions to address business needs
• Design secure, scalable, and reliable technical solutions
• Work with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, AKS, and EKS platforms
• Support governance processes to ensure solutions meet DWP standards
• Collaborate with delivery managers and agile teams to support technical delivery
• Analyze existing technical systems and recommend improvements

🔹 Mandatory Skills / Requirements

• UK Citizen
• Minimum 5 years UK residency
• Must be currently based in the UK
• Strong understanding of technical architecture concepts
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes
• Experience with AKS and EKS platforms
• Knowledge of AI services / Gen AI solutions
• Strong technical systems analysis skills
• Comfortable working in an Agile delivery environment
• Ideally, prior experience working in the public sector

🔹 Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting UK government or public sector projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work through governance and compliance requirements
• Experience leading technical delivery teams
