Gambit Search is working with a growing, technology-led insolvency firm on the appointment of a Senior Insolvency Administrator in London. The firm is taking a modern approach to corporate insolvency, combining experienced practitioners with purpose-built technology and AI to improve the way cases are managed and delivered.

About the Firm

Our client is a modern insolvency firm focused on making corporate insolvency faster, smarter and more transparent. Combining deep industry expertise with technology and AI, the firm is focused on improving case processing, reducing costs and delivering better outcomes for stakeholders.

Founded by a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs, the business has a UK focus with an international outlook, operating across hubs in London and Copenhagen. The firm is well-funded and has an ambitious multi-year growth plan, with a fast-moving, collaborative and high-trust culture.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Insolvency Administrator, you’ll play an important role in delivering a portfolio of CVL and MVL cases, working closely with the IP and wider team across the full case lifecycle. You’ll be involved from pre-appointment and initial engagement through statutory case administration, realisations, creditor and employee matters, investigations, distributions and closure.

You’ll work closely with the senior team and use a purpose-built insolvency platform designed to improve the way cases are managed and delivered. The role offers the opportunity to build strong technical experience, take on increasing responsibility and gain exposure to a modern approach to insolvency casework.

What You’ll Do

● Manage elements of live CVL and MVL cases across the case lifecycle, working closely with the IP and wider team.

● Assist with pre-appointment work, statutory production, creditor and employee matters, investigations, realisations, distributions and case closure.

● Maintain high standards of compliance and AML, escalating issues and judgement calls appropriately.

● Take ownership of allocated casework and ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and within required timescales.

● Use the firm’s case-management platform to streamline casework and identify opportunities to improve processes.

● Communicate confidently with directors, creditors, employees and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

● 2+ years of UK corporate insolvency experience, with hands-on CVL/MVL casework.

● Good understanding of the corporate insolvency process and confidence managing your own allocated casework.

● Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to compliance.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced IPs and colleagues.

● Learning agility and an interest in using technology to improve the way work is delivered.

● Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes and systems are continually developing.

● CPI qualification or progress towards CPI/JIEB would be advantageous but is not essential.
