Console Repairing Technician

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Console Repairing Technician for our client in Telford. This is a role best suited to someone who is familiar with repairing console equipment. This role is temporary that could lead to permanent.   Hours of work:  Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm    Pay: £12.21 per hour   Duties and responsibilities as a Console Repairing Technician:

• Stripping of consoles
• Replacing broken HDMI ports – ESSENTIAL.
• Clean out and re-thermal pasting – ESSENTIAL.
• Re-assembling the consoles and then cleaning prior to passing to QA for testing
• Controller repairs to include replacement of the thumb controllers – Preferred!

Qualifications & Skills as a Console Repairing Technician:

• Electronic repairs within consoles
• Familiar with consoles - major brands
• An eye for detail
• High levels of written and spoken English
• A positive attitude to work
• Good Attendance & a self starter
• The right to work in the UK
