We’re looking for a driven, competitive, and money-motivated individual to join our successful Energy team, taking ownership of the growing Data Centres desk. This is an exciting time to get involved, as demand for talent continues to surge across the UK, Ireland, and Europe — with opportunities extending into the Middle East and the US.
In this role, you’ll focus on recruiting permanent roles such as Design Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Planners, and H&S professionals. You’ll develop “your desk” into a hub of activity, spending your time connecting with high-quality candidates, managing interviews, building lasting client relationships, and working closely with hiring managers to deliver excellent service. Alongside recruitment, you’ll engage in sales, business development, and networking — the building blocks of a successful desk.
What You’ll Do:Own the full recruitment lifecycle for permanent roles, from sourcing and engaging candidates to closing high-value placements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their hiring needs and providing expert market insight.
Identify and engage top talent through strategic headhunting, networking, and targeted outreach across job boards and professional networks.
Conduct interviews and match candidates with the right long-term opportunities, ensuring a high-quality hiring experience.
Advise clients and candidates with consultative, data-driven insights to support successful, sustainable hires.
Drive results and exceed targets, both personally and as part of a high-performing team.

Ideally, candidates with sales/recruitment experience to meet the specialised demands of the sector.
Engineering backgrounds with transferable skills - experience in construction is particularly relevant due to similar technical requirements.
Experience working in a sales driven environment.
Strong capability in headhunting, relationship-led recruitment, and candidate care.
Confidence in winning and qualifying roles through candidate-driven strategies.
Commercial mindset with the resilience and motivation to grow a high-performing desk.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both candidates and clients.
