Engineering Manager - Java/.Net

Engineering Lead – Contract | London Or Bristol | Hybrid (2 days onsite)

We’re hiring an experienced Engineering Lead for a long-term 6–12 month contract engagement focused on large-scale cloud and enterprise delivery.

You’ll lead engineering teams across architecture, delivery, and platform modernisation while remaining technically hands-on when needed. Strong experience with modern software engineering practices, cloud-native delivery, APIs, DevOps, and scalable system design is essential.

Key experience required:

• Strong background in Java/.NET engineering environments
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure preferred)
• CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and engineering best practices
• Leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivery ownership
• Architecture, integration, and scalable solution design
• Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and sprint leadership
• Ability to drive quality, performance, and engineering standards
