- You will plays a critical part in ensuring seamless IT operations within a fast-paced corporate environment. As an onsite Field Service Technician, you will support end users by maintaining,
- troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of IT hardware, software, network components, and collaboration technologies.
- You will contribute directly to business productivity by restoring systems quickly, maintaining asset accuracy, and ensuring compliance with IT security and safety standards.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
• Strong hands-on experience supporting end-user hardware such as desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, iPads, printers, and AV devices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and common enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of networking basics, including connectivity troubleshooting and device configuration.
• Experience performing system updates, backups, preventive maintenance, and hardware repairs.
• Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately in IT ticketing systems.
• Experience coordinating with remote teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, compliance requirements, and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks involved in equipment installation.
• Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between sites and respond to emergency support requirements.
Your responsibilities:
• Provide onsite IT support for corporate office users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network equipment, and AV systems.
• Troubleshoot system performance, network connectivity, and device-level faults with a strong focus on reducing downtime.
• Perform system updates, backups, and scheduled preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce recurring incidents.
• Manage hardware asset inventory, including shipping, receiving, and tracking of IT equipment across locations.
• Lead onsite installation activities while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and customer compliance standards.
• Follow all site-specific safety rules and maintain professionalism while representing the IT team onsite.
