Windows 11 Bare Metal and Modern Workplace Engineer

Contract role between 250-300 GBP per day,

URGENT role.

Overview

We are seeking a hands on engineer with strong grounding in Windows 11 bare metal build engineering using SCCM or MECM, and deep knowledge across Active Directory, Outlook modernisation, and M365 administration. This is for someone comfortable running discovery, leading design, documenting properly, and executing delivery in a complex enterprise estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of Windows 11 Bare Metal Build using SCCM or MECM OSD Task Sequences

• Ownership of Hardware Driver Certification processes for Windows 11 builds

• Design and implement New Outlook across a global or enterprise scale

• Enable and integrate web based Outlook add ins including Condeco, Mimecast, Teams etc

• Deploy New Outlook into production environments with minimal user disruption

• Use SCCM for application packaging, deployment, compliance policy management and TS issue resolution

• Work with GPOs and Active Directory for enterprise wide policy enforcement

• Administer M365 services in the admin portal with troubleshooting and configuration expertise

• Conduct discovery and requirements analysis with stakeholders and technical leads

• Produce high quality documentation including design documents, runbooks, knowledgebase materials and operational handover packs

Experience Required

• Proven expertise in SCCM or MECM OSD Task Sequences for bare metal imaging

• Strong knowledge of hardware driver catalogues, validation and certification

• Experience implementing and deploying New Outlook at enterprise scale

• Familiarity with Add in frameworks for Outlook and cross platform integration

• Strong capability in Group Policy, Active Directory and identity driven configuration

• Solid working knowledge of M365 administration

• Demonstrable experience in designing technical solutions, not just executing tasks
