Software Engineer

🚀 Hiring: Part-Time Engineer – London

We’re looking for a hands-on, independent engineer to join us at Gecko Risk, a data company in the automotive/insurance space focused on Electric Vehicles.

This is a part-time role (2–3 days/week), ideal for someone who enjoys building real products end-to-end and working closely with founders.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining data pipelines (AWS, S3, Athena, Supabase)
• Developing lightweight APIs / backend services (TypeScript, Python)
• Working with dashboards + data products
• Experimenting with AI tools / agents to improve workflows

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has ~3–6 years experience (flexible)
• Is comfortable across AWS, Python, TS
• Likes shipping quickly and working independently
• Has interest in AI tooling

Details:

• 📍 London / Hybrid working
• 🕒 2–3 days per week (flexible)
• 💼 Mid-level / builder profile (not overly corporate)
