The Mobile App Developer is a crucial appointment in realising this ambition, responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.The Role:* Leading React Native projects from cradle-to-grave and taking responsibility for projects already in-flight* Building mobile applications using React Native, including designing user interfaces and implementing functionality* Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and standards* Ensuring application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency* Identifying and resolving bugs, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring code quality* Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in the mobile development processThe Candidate:* Strong React Native experience* Strong understanding of mobile development principles and best practices* Experience with cross-platform development (iOS and Android)* Expertise in testing best practices and automation* Familiarity with CI tools and mobile pipelines* Ability to solve complex problems with clean, maintainable code* Experience with mobile performance, UX, and security* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Problem-solving and analytical skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at an exciting time on their journey with genuine opportunities for career development and progression, offering a hybrid working pattern after an initial office-based bedding in period.GEM Partnership is acting as an employment agency on this vacancy.
