Location: Remote
Company: GenderGP
Type: Full-time
Up to £30K a year depending on experience
At GenderGP, we are revolutionising access to gender-affirming healthcare for trans and non-binary people around the world. We're passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive digital platform that empowers our community to live authentically. As we build new tools and services to support our members, we’re looking for a talented and detail-driven SQA Specialist to ensure our products are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with our values.
As an SQA Specialist, you'll play a critical role in testing and validating new systems and features before they reach our users. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify bugs, improve performance, and ensure the user experience is intuitive and accessible.
This role combines technical testing (functional, integration, regression) with UI/UX testing (usability, flow, design consistency), helping us launch high-quality features that our Members love and trust.

- Perform end-to-end testing of complex user journeys to catch edge cases and inconsistencies
- Review UI/UX from a user perspective - flagging anything that feels confusing, broken, or off-brand
- Collaborate with developers to replicate bugs, report issues clearly, and verify fixes
- Continuously improve our QA processes and documentation
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback to product stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience in a QA or SQA role, ideally within a startup or healthtech environment
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linear) and test case management
- Familiarity with writing automated test scripts on frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, Cypress etc
- Confidence testing REST APIs and basic backend flows
- A strong eye for design and usability, with the ability to spot UI/UX issues that affect user experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Passion for LGBTQ+ health and inclusivity is a big plus
