We are inviting applications for the role of Snr Principal Consultant -Snowflake Architect

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise data warehouse solutions on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud platforms, and modern data integration patterns, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Snowflake data architecture and data models to support analytical and operational reporting needs.
• Define best practices for Snowflake usage, data ingestion, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Snowpipe, dbt, Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to ensure consistent and efficient data access.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards (RBAC, masking, encryption, etc.).
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to integrate Snowflake with cloud-native services.
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems to Snowflake.
• Conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning for Snowflake workloads.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on Snowflake best practices.

Skillset

• Design end-to-end Snowflake data architecture, including schema design, data modeling (3NF, star/snowflake, data vault), and ELT frameworks.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns leveraging tools like DBT, Airflow, Matillion, Fivetran, or Informatica.
• Establish architecture blueprints for multi-region, multi-tenant, and secure Snowflake deployments.
• Lead migration from legacy data warehouses (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.) to Snowflake.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred qualifications

• BE/ B tech. / MCA / MSc. / BSc.
