- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working: Central Bristol HQ with the flexibility for 1–2 remote days/week after probation

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Senior Technical Consultant to take charge of technical pre-sales activities, define and articulate solutions, and act as a trusted advisor for our clients. You’ll blend technical leadership, consultancy, solution architecture, estimation, and client-facing engagement working alongside other senior technical leads to ensure world-class delivery and unlock new, innovative offerings.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll translate ambitious client ideas into practical, credible solutions, provide insight and challenge through technical advisory, and help shape the future direction of our consultancy offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Pre-Sales & Advisory:
- Lead technical engagements in pre-sales cycles, including solution definition, technical presentations, and estimations.
- Join client calls with sales to understand requirements, present solutions, and address technical questions as a client-facing advisor.
Solution Definition & Innovation:
- Design, define, and document robust and innovative technical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively shape our offering.
Consultancy & Discovery:
- Deliver consultancy services including technology audits, discovery/phased assessments, proofs-of-concept, and strategic recommendations.
- Analyse client technology landscapes toidentifyrisks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
Estimation & Proposal Support:
- Analyse client technology landscapes toidentifyrisks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Create and own technical estimates, contribute to Statements of Work and proposal documentation.
- Clearly articulate solution scope, risks, and approach to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Significant experiencein a client-facing technical consultancy or leadership role (e.g. Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Technical Consultant)
- Proven ability to advise, guide, and influence clients at a senior level
- Demonstrable pre-sales experience solution definition, technical presentations, and estimation
- Outstanding communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong record of designing innovative technical solutions and documenting approaches
- Experience running assessments, discoveries, technical audits, and presenting recommendations
- Collaborative mindset—able tovalidateand challenge technical approaches with peers
- Strong awareness of current and emerging technology trends
- Exposure to multiple technology stacks and sectors
