SAP Production Planner
SAP Production Planning Consultant / Remote / c£400 per day Umbrella
Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence organisation are currently recruiting for a SAP Production Planning Consultant. As an SAP Production Planning Consultant, you will be the subject matter expert, providing professional advice and recommendations to support business queries and requirements. You will design and develop business-enhancing solutions within SAP, deliver early life support for new solutions, and support established in-house developed solutions. Your role will be pivotal in adding value to existing business processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Lead projects from design to completion, ensuring required business outputs are achieved.
- Stakeholder Management: Influence and negotiate with key project stakeholders, using data and analysis to support your reasoning.
- Team Coordination: May supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.
- Problem Solving: Take ownership of and resolve complex technical problems within your speciality.
- Prioritisation: Manage work and time effectively to meet Service Level Agreements for incidents, problems, change requests, and projects.
- Process Improvement: Challenge and respond to process issues, providing support for data migration projects as needed.
- Solution Development: Understand business data requirements and translate them into solution frameworks and architectures.
- Incident & Problem Resolution: Collaborate with business experts and technical resources to facilitate resolution.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders.
- Code Development: Coordinate the development of code elements and review deliverables.
- Standards Adherence: Ensure all solutions adhere to internal and external standards.

- Patches and fixes for deployed Business Solutions
- Support for User Acceptance Testing of new Business Solutions
- Early life support for new Business Solutions
- Knowledge transfer to team members
- Technical Specifications and Support Documentation
- Assistance in producing User guides and training documentation
Technical Skills:
- Must Have: SAP - Production Planning (PP)
- Nice to Have: SAP - Materials Management (MM), SAP - Quality Management (QM)
This role is remote but occasional travel to Yeovil is required
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
