VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Coordinator
Note: this is a 12 month full time contract.
An opportunity to learn a new technical skillset and become one of our subject matter experts for VOIP.
You may be a support agent of administrator within another type of technology company, used to the mindset of troubleshooting, and looking for growth and the support to develop new skills and expertise.
VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a key product and service for Gigaclear, and this is a 12 month maternity cover where you will gain a thorough understanding, learning all about the processes and tools that are involved in the provision of our VOIP services.
The role sits in our Service Operations department therefore along with managing the end-to-end lifecycle and performance of our VOIP services, owning, prioritising, and managing escalated issues from our Customer Services teams, your focus will be on continuous improvement.
Note: this is a hybrid role, 3 days per week based out of our Abingdon Head Office.
You will be someone who is inquisitive, a problem solver who enjoys the challenges of identifying the root causes of issues and then proposing and implementing solutions.
To do this you will be adept at collating and presenting Data to summarise findings and will be capable of communicating effective technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
We will train the technology, what we do need is someone who excels in service management and has worked with retail customers.
Certifications in ITSM / ITIL would be an advantage but there would be an opportunity to boost understanding and benefit from study using our online training system.
An understanding of VOIP (hardware and software), including the provision of 999 services availability 24/7 or Telecoms Broadband product and operating processes and tools would be highly beneficial.
