UX Designer

My client is an impressive web based business in Central Cardiff. They are recruiting for a UX Designer to work fully in house in their impressive offices in the City Centre.

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a UX Designer, you won’t just be designing wireframes — you’ll be shaping digital journeys that thousands of people rely on. You’ll:

  • Help create seamless, accessible experiences across our platforms.
  • Support user research activities like interviews, surveys and usability testing.
  • Turn insight into action with wireframes, journey maps and interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, project managers and designers to bring ideas to life.
  • Apply inclusive design principles to improve usability for all users.
  • Use feedback and data to continuously refine and improve designs.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute across the entire UX process, working on products that really matter to real people.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You might start with a team check-in to prioritise tasks or review feedback. Mid-morning, you’re wireframing a new feature with input from the project lead. After lunch, you’re observing user testing on a new booking form and sketching refinements. By 4pm, you’re in a cross-team design sprint, mapping out a better way for customers to compare matches. All in a day’s work.

  • Ability to balance creative thinking with practical solutions.
