As they continue to expand their Technology function, they're seeking an ambitious Graduate AI Automation & Workflow Engineer to work closely with the CTO to help build the future of intelligent automation. Job description - Graduate AI Automation & Workflow Engineer In this role, you will play a key role in building, testing, and supporting intelligent automations that streamline processes and improve customer and colleague experiences. This graduate role is designed to give you hands-on exposure to agentic AI, low/no-code automation platforms, and workflow orchestration tools, all while learning from experienced engineers and architects. You will work in a fast-paced, FCA-regulated environment, helping to transform Blue's traditional IT and operational processes into digitally enabled, AI-driven workflows that reduce manual effort, improve compliance, and enhance scalability. This is a hybrid role based out of their Sevenoaks HQ, with hybrid working.  Key responsibilities - AI Engineer In this graduate technology job in Kent, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing, building, and maintaining workflow automations using n8n, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Flowable.
  • Leveraging AI (LLMs, copilots, RPA) to automate decision-making, document handling, and service tasks.
  • Collaborating with analysts and process owners to map and redesign manual processes.
  • Supporting integration of APIs, SaaS platforms, and internal systems (e.g. SQL Server, Azure).
  • Experimenting with generative AI and agentic workflows (e.g. intelligent routing, data extraction).
  • Working with the Data Engineering team to enable automations with trusted data pipelines.
  • Documenting workflows, decision rules, and automation logic for transparency and audit.
  • Participating in Agile sprints & code reviews.
Job requirements - Automation Developer
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Curiosity and passion for AI, automation, and problem-solving.
  • Evidence of working on AI / Automation / Workflow projects - this can be from university, personal projects, internships, or work experience.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting (Python, JavaScript, or SQL) is desirable.
  • Experience with low-code platforms, cloud environments (Azure, AWS), or SQL databases is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with APIs, JSON, or data integration concepts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with both technical and business teams.
  • Eagerness to learn in a regulated financial services environment.
