Job description - Sales Development Representative You'll own the full sales cycle for the SMB market - from identifying and engaging prospects through to closing deals and generating revenue. You'll use a combination of cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and social selling to build your own pipeline, and you'll be responsible for converting that pipeline into closed business.With expert training and coaching available, this role will suit a recent graduate with a strong desire and aptitude for sales, or someone who has already gained some sales experience and is looking to elevate their career to the next level.
Key responsibilities - Sales Development Representative In this Sales Executive opportunity in Manchester, your responsibilities will include: - Lead Generation - identifying potential customers through a variety of methods.
- Generating a strong pipeline of leads, continuing research, and qualifying potential clients.
- Conducting outbound outreach via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn.
- Full-cycle selling - you'll own deals from first conversation through to close.
- Client engagement - you'll have meaningful conversations with decision-makers to understand their challenges and connect them to suitable solutions.
- Undertaking sales training to develop your skills, and collaborating with Account Executives on larger deals. You'll also work with Customer Success and Marketing teams to maximise results.
- Maintaining accurate data on the CRM system.
- Working to your own quota target.
- Leveraging AI tools alongside sales platforms to elevate your projects.
Job requirements - Sales Development Representative - A degree from University, and/or prior sales experience.
- Commercial experience within B2C or B2B business development is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and previous success in developing client relationships.
- A clear desire for a long-term career in sales.
- Someone who is driven and commercially minded - you want to be rewarded for results.
- Comfortable working to targets.
- Experience with sales technology tools such as Salesforce is beneficial.
- Very well organised, and the ability to work across a variety of projects at any one time.
- Someone who is resilient, target-driven, and tenacious. You handle rejection well and come back stronger.

Benefits of the job - Sales Development Representative - A competitive starting salary of £30,000. For candidates with established prior sales experience, salaries up to £35,000 are available.
