Over the last year, Givver has evolved massively, and we’ve now delivered on our core vision: a platform where HR, Time & Attendance, and Payroll work together as one.

For decades, these systems have been disconnected, slow, manual, and full of friction. We’ve rebuilt the experience so everything syncs in real time, with AI applied where it creates the most value for clients.

We’re already winning customers from large, established players in the HR and payroll space. More importantly, we’re closing around 90% of what enters pipeline, which tells us the product is landing strongly and the opportunity ahead is significant.

We’re now hiring our first Founding Outbound SDR to help us scale that momentum.

The Role

This is not a typical SDR role. You’ll work directly with the founders to build outbound from scratch and create demand in the market.

👉 Your focus: start conversations with the right companies and turn them into qualified opportunities.

This is a phone-first outbound role, but it is not only desk-based.

You’ll spend most of your time:

  • On the phone
  • On LinkedIn and social channels
  • Researching and targeting accounts
  • Testing messaging and outreach angles
  • Booking meetings that convert into real pipeline

You’ll also attend events across the UK and Europe, meeting prospects in person, supporting conversations on the ground, and helping turn interest into pipeline.

You’ll use modern tools, including AI where it genuinely improves your output, to research, personalise outreach, and move faster.

There is no finished playbook. You’ll help us build it.

What You’ll Do

  • Own outbound pipeline generation from day one
  • Run high-volume, high-quality, phone-led outreach
  • Prospect and engage companies across the UK and EU
  • Support the team as Givver expands internationally
  • Use LinkedIn, email, phone, and modern tooling to generate opportunities
  • Identify the right personas, messages, and triggers that open doors
  • Work closely with founders to refine messaging, positioning, and targeting
  • Qualify opportunities thoughtfully and hand over strong meetings
  • Continuously test, learn, and improve your approach

What We’re Looking For

We care less about polished CVs and more about how you operate.

You might be a strong fit if you:

  • Have 1–3 years of experience in SDR, BDR, outbound sales, or another highly target-driven role
  • Are confident speaking to people and comfortable spending a big part of your day on the phone
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Show high levels of drive, discipline, and consistency
  • Are proactive and resourceful, and do not wait to be told what to do
  • Are tech-savvy, pick up new tools quickly, and are comfortable using AI to improve research, targeting, and outreach quality
  • Learn fast from rejection and adjust your approach
  • Care about quality pipeline, not just activity metrics
  • Want to grow with a company and earn increasing responsibility over time

Experience in HR tech, payroll, or SaaS is helpful, but not essential.

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You do not enjoy outbound prospecting
  • You avoid picking up the phone
  • You need a fully structured playbook before you can perform
  • You rely on brand recognition to sell
  • You struggle with consistency or self-management
  • You focus on activity over outcomes
  • You are uncomfortable using tools or AI to improve how you work

Early-stage outbound requires ownership, resilience, and constant improvement.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 3 months:

  • You’ve built a strong understanding of our product, ICP, and market
  • You’ve developed a consistent outbound rhythm
  • You’re generating qualified meetings on a weekly basis
  • You’ve contributed to messaging that converts
  • You’ve become a core part of the commercial engine

Compensation & Benefits

  • ÂŁ35,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission
  • Equity / meaningful early-stage ownership
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, with full flexibility on when you take them (not tied to fixed public holiday dates)
  • Hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week in our East London office

We’re not looking for someone to simply “do SDR work.”
