Business Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing transformation function within a technology-led organisation undergoing significant change and expansion.

The business is investing heavily in its future operating model and is looking for an individual who can help drive process standardisation, operational efficiency and scalable ways of working across multiple business functions.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, engaging with stakeholders across the business and delivering meaningful process improvements that support growth.

The Role

As Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing, documenting and redesigning business processes across both operational and commercial functions.

You will be responsible for understanding current ways of working, identifying inefficiencies and designing future-state processes that improve consistency, governance and customer experience.

Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts and technical teams, you will help create clear process documentation, standard operating procedures and business requirements that enable long-term operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process discovery workshops and document current-state ("As-Is") processes.
  • Design future-state ("To-Be") processes that support efficiency, scalability and automation.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process documentation.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings across multiple business functions.
  • Gather, document and manage business requirements.
  • Produce user stories, acceptance criteria and process specifications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation activities.
  • Work with technical and data teams to ensure process alignment with supporting systems.
  • Define process controls, governance and operational measures.
  • Support change adoption through effective communication, training materials and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider business.

About You

You will be an experienced Business Analyst or Process Analyst with a strong track record of delivering process improvement and business transformation initiatives.

You will be comfortable operating across different business functions, challenging existing ways of working and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst or Continuous Improvement Analyst.
  • Strong process mapping experience, including As-Is and To-Be process design.
  • Experience producing SOPs, process documentation and operational controls.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
  • Experience supporting business change and transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, practical documentation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within technology, services, MSP, professional services or operational environments.
  • Exposure to CRM, ERP or ITSM platforms.
  • Experience working with system-driven process improvements.
  • Understanding of data governance, KPI definition and reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting integrations, acquisitions or organisational growth initiatives.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practice.
