Salary: £35,000 (DOE)

Contract: Full time, Perm, 1 day per week working from home

The Role

An innovative and fast-growing ecommerce brand is seeking a talented Email & CRM Specialist to join their digital team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a genuine passion for customer lifecycle marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analysing email and SMS campaigns to enhance customer engagement, drive sales, and build brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and execute end-to-end email and SMS campaigns, including template building, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.

  • Manage lifecycle campaigns including acquisition, nurturing, post-purchase, re-engagement, loyalty, and transactional communications.

  • Build segmented and personalised campaigns using behavioural data to improve engagement and commercial performance.

  • Align campaign plans with trading priorities, forecasts, and key stakeholders across the business.

  • Implement A/B testing strategies and provide actionable insights on subject lines, content, design, timing, and segmentation.

  • Monitor email rendering across devices and platforms to ensure consistency and optimal display.

  • Collaborate closely with design and content teams to produce high-performing creatives that adhere to best practices.

  • Balance customer contact frequency across campaign and transactional communications to reduce churn.

  • Create clear and insightful reporting on key campaign metrics including open and click rates, conversions, and revenue impact.

  • Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and innovations within the CRM and email marketing space to continually optimise strategy.

Candidate Criteria
  • Demonstrable experience in running and optimising email marketing programmes end-to-end.

  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and automation platforms.

  • Solid understanding of global compliance standards including GDPR and email best practices.

  • Proven track record in growing and analysing large email databases to enhance campaign performance.

  • Confident in building email campaigns from scratch, both technically and creatively.

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Basic HTML/CSS skills and the ability to troubleshoot email rendering issues.

  • Comfortable interpreting data and using insights to improve campaign outcomes.

  • Excellent written English with strong attention to tone, clarity, and grammar.

  • Highly organised with strong project management capabilities and acute attention to detail.
