Head of Legal - EMEA (Commercial Contracts focused)

Head of Legal (EMEA) Birmingham HQ (2-3 days pw) Salary c.£125,000 + benefits

Highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced international usiness is looking to recruit a senior commercial lawyer to join a small, nimble global team as Head of Legal EMEA.

You will lead on high profile, complex commercial contracts (SaaS, supplier, consultancy etc) working with customers across multiple sectors and jurisdictions supporting the UK and European business as it continues is transformative journey.

As a legal leader you will handle disputes, drive compliance and provide strategic counsel across a range of commercial matters. You will also manage external experts, as well as an internal legal team of two.

The wider legal and compliance function will have experts across risk, DP, governance, co sec etc, therefore this role is a little more focused on the commercial legal activities, hence the need to really enjoy that focus.

Culturally you will be a team player, calm and enjoy juggling priorities, and being hands-on supporting the business. Naturally inquisitive, you will be able to drive culture, influence leaders and design process improvement all with integrity and enthusiasm.
