We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our clients growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for account development, relationship building, and delivering outstanding customer service within the IT channel.

Working closely with some of their most important reseller partners, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and maximising opportunities across our extensive portfolio of IT hardware and services

The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of strategic reseller accounts, including MSPs, VARs, and IT e-tailers. You will build strong relationships at multiple levels, identify new opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to provide exceptional customer experiences.

This role combines account management, business development, forecasting, and commercial planning, making it ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with key reseller partners across your account base
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account development.
  • Identify and target dormant or underdeveloped accounts to unlock new business opportunities.
  • Conduct account reviews and analyse share-of-wallet opportunities to maximise spend across the portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through effective CRM management.
  • Deliver regular customer reviews, virtual meetings, and face-to-face account visits.
  • Work collaboratively with purchasing, finance, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Promote vendor initiatives, new product launches, and commercial opportunities to your customer base.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in account management, internal sales, or business development within the IT sector.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, services, or the UK IT reseller channel
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and profit targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine desire to succeed.
