Pre-Sales Consultant - Cyber Security
As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will work closely with Account Managers and technical teams to design and deliver end-to-end security solutions that strengthen organizations against evolving cyber threats. Your role focuses on understanding client challenges, shaping security strategies, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic whiteboarding sessions to develop and implement robust security strategies.
- Design, review, and propose end-to-end cybersecurity solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Deliver consultative workshops, including posture assessments and gap analyses.
- Provide guidance during cyber incidents and contribute to incident response planning.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation to support security improvements.
- Deliver technical enablement sessions to empower internal teams and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, building strong relationships based on expertise.
- Maintain vendor certifications and stay current with cybersecurity trends and innovations.
Core Expertise:
- Advanced cybersecurity services: SSE, SASE, SIEM, MDR/EDR.
- Endpoint detection and threat management solutions.
- Security frameworks and compliance standards: ISO27002, CIS, NIST CSF.
- SOC processes and Microsoft security stack.
- Experience with leading vendors: Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Sophos, SentinelOne, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler.
Experience:
- 5+ years in Pre-Sales or similar roles within MSP/Reseller environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and consultative approach.
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA, CCNA advantageous).
- Passion for helping organizations improve their security posture.
