Senior IFS Technical Developer

Overview:

A leading FMCG business is seeking a Senior IFS Developer to take full technical ownership of its IFS ERP solution ahead of a critical go live. You will play a hands-on leadership role in reviewing the system end-to-end, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring the platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with fast-paced FMCG operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the IFS ERP solution across all modules, with a focus on operational readiness for FMCG environments (e.g. supply chain, production, warehousing).
• Perform a comprehensive system review across integration's, configurations, and custom developments.
• Identify potential risks or gaps that could impact the success of go-live and formulate remediation plans.
• Partner with supply chain, finance, production, and IT teams to ensure the system supports real-time, high-volume FMCG processes.
• Lead technical improvements and provide strategic input on optimisation and scalability.
• Support go-live execution and provide stabilisation expertise post-deployment.

  Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a senior IFS developer, ideally with IFS Applications 10 or Cloud.
  • Proven track record delivering IFS solutions in high-volume FMCG or manufacturing settings.
  • Experience of IFS architecture, PL/ SQL, integration's, and customisation best practices.
  • Skilled in assessing system readiness and resolving technical risks before go-live.
  • Effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
