Workday Finance Systems Manager

We are working with a globally recognised technology leader to recruit a Workday Finance Systems Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the organisation’s Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning platforms, ensuring they operate effectively to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee, maintain, and continuously improve the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems, ensuring they remain well-documented and tightly controlled
• Lead, support, and develop a small team of finance systems specialists, fostering growth and professional development
• Deliver technical guidance for core financial processes, helping to drive efficiency and operational improvements
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across global finance teams and the wider business
• Monitor new Workday releases and recommend system enhancements that benefit finance and the broader organisation
• Coordinate pilot testing for new features and updates, gathering feedback from finance users to guide improvements
• Design and roll out training initiatives that enable users to fully utilise Workday and Adaptive Planning functionality
• Manage external partners who provide Workday maintenance and support services

What You’ll Bring:

• Workday Financials Certification, demonstrating in-depth platform knowledge
• A recognised accounting qualification and a solid grasp of financial processes and controls
• Experience leading teams in a global, multicultural environment
• Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimisation
• Experience within a US-listed organisation and familiarity with SOX controls (highly beneficial)

Salary: £100,000 – £120,000
