Rate: up to £500 per day
Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager on behalf of our international client to lead key product initiatives focused on improving customer experience and driving measurable business outcomes. This role suits someone with strong product fundamentals who works closely with engineering teams and uses data to guide decisions and prioritisation.
You will define product direction within a clear scope, drive delivery through a cross-functional team, and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned to strategic goals. The role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on prioritisation, sprint planning, and continuous optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the vision for a defined product area, ensuring alignment with wider business and product strategy
- Build and maintain a clear, prioritised roadmap focused on near- and mid-term objectives
- Work closely with engineering teams to plan and execute sprint cycles effectively
- Define and track key product metrics, ensuring data quality and integrity across flows
- Translate business needs and customer insights into clear product requirements
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
- Use data and experimentation to validate improvements and inform product decisions
- Collaborate with design and engineering to deliver intuitive, user-focused solutions
- Communicate progress, updates, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at different levels
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a mid-level Product Manager within a digital or technology environment
- Strong grounding in product management best practices (product craft) and prioritisation techniques
- Hands-on experience working closely with engineering teams, including sprint planning and Agile delivery
- Good understanding of data flows, data structures, and data quality considerations
- Ability to use data to support decision-making and measure product performance
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Desirable
- Experience with longer-term product planning and strategic roadmap development
- Exposure to SAP environments or migration programmes (e.g. S/4HANA)
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality management
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, including leadership-level communication
- Demonstrated ability to operate in environments with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
