Job Title: SAP BW Consultant

Location: Telford (2 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £481.25 per day (Inside IR35 – PAYE via Capgemini)

Clearance: BPSS required (SC eligibility beneficial)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant to support the delivery of end-to-end SAP solutions within a high-profile programme. The role will involve working across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and support, while engaging with key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end SAP BW solutions, including blueprinting, functional design, build, and deployment
• Lead client workshops to gather and define business requirements
• Produce detailed functional and technical design documentation
• Configure SAP solutions aligned to business needs
• Collaborate with ABAP developers during the build phase
• Support testing, validation, and deployment activities
• Manage go-live and transition to support teams
• Handle incident management and problem resolution

Skills and Experience Required

Core Expertise:

• SAP BW, BEx, ABAP, and SAP Analytics
• MDM and BOBJ Data Services

Additional Knowledge:

• SAP FI-CA, TRM, and CRM
• SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA)
• Understanding of UK financial accounting and reporting

Experience:

• Minimum of one full SAP lifecycle project (ideally BW within Finance)
• Experience working within the Public Sector
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
• Proven experience in testing and documentation
