Title: SAP RISE Programme Manager – S/4HANA Transformation
Location: 80% remote based (Occasional Travel Northwest England)
Duration: 6 months (initial) + extensions
Contract Type: Inside IR35 Contract
Rate: up to £80 per hour
Overview
An enterprise‐scale digital organisation is seeking an experienced SAP RISE Programme Manager to lead delivery of a major ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration for a core business unit. This role sits at the centre of a complex, multi‐year ERP transformation and requires strong programme governance, stakeholder management and delivery expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‐to‐end delivery of a SAP S/4HANA RISE migration across Prepare, Explore, Realise and Deploy phases.
- Own programme planning, milestones, dependencies and RAID management.
- Establish and run effective programme governance, steering forums and decision‐making cadences.
- Coordinate internal business teams, SAP and external implementation partners.
- Drive key design and architectural decisions with senior stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles and ERP best practices.
- Track delivery progress and continuously optimise ways of working.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Programme / Project Management within digital or enterprise environments.
- 5+ years leading large‐scale ERP or SAP S/4HANA transformations end‐to‐end.
- Strong experience managing systems integrators and software vendors.
- Solid understanding of Finance processes (e.g. O2C, R2R, Tax, Treasury).
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in global, matrixed organisations.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE, SAP BTP, and MDG‐F.
- Change management experience within ERP programmes.
- Background in legacy system modernisation or cloud migrations.
