Data Governance & Operations Manager

Full-time permanent, £55-£64k per annum, hybrid - 1 day per week onsite in London

We're currently working with a UK Charity who are looking for a Data Governance & Governance Manager to lead how data is governed, structured, and delivered during a major period of transformation. You'll play a key role in migrating to a Dynamics-based CRM and shaping a modern, integrated data environment that enables insight, automation, and confident decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data governance, stewardship, and quality standards across organisation
• Define and maintain data architecture across Dynamics CRM, legacy systems, and future platforms
• Oversee data operations, including selections, integrations, and data engineering
• Support data migration, modelling, mapping, and quality assurance
• Build strong partnerships with fundraising, services, volunteering, policy, finance, and insight teams
• Champion responsible, effective use of data across the organisation

Person specification

Essential

• Proven experience designing and embedding data governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of data architecture and system integration (ideally Microsoft/Dynamics)
• Experience supporting data migration and integration projects
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements
• Experience using data tools such as Power BI / Power Query

Desirable

• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Synapse)
• Knowledge of CRM, case management, or supporter data
• Experience with SQL, APIs, or integration tools
• Background in non-profit environments
