Digital Change Lead
De Montfort University is embarking on an ambitious digital transformation, investing in the people, platforms and culture needed to reshape how a modern university operates. With a clear focus on innovation, student experience and data-driven decision-making, DMU is building a digitally enabled future that goes well beyond systems change to embedding new ways of working across the institution. This is a chance to join a university with genuine momentum, strong leadership backing and a commitment to making digital a core driver of its long-term strategy.
For a Change Manger with strong projects and programmes experience within the digital domain, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how transformation is delivered and embedded across De Montfort University. Working at the heart of a dynamic digital function, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of four, bringing fresh energy and coaching them to deliver stronger, more consistent performance
- Build and enhance a network of digital champions across the university, engaging stakeholders to understand their needs and clearly communicating the impact of ongoing transformation
- Support and embed new ways of working, ensuring change is adopted, sustained and delivers measurable outcomes
- Apply strong project management capability, with exposure to digital products and agile ways of working, to support effective delivery
- Contribute to major transformation initiatives, including new data platforms, enhanced business reporting and the SAP Futures programme
- Establish and refine change frameworks where needed, driving structured and effective adoption across the organisation
- Work collaboratively with the central transformation office, aligning priorities and operating effectively within a wider transformation environment
This is a role with real breadth and influence, offering the opportunity to shape how digital change is delivered across a forward-thinking institution. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong change management skills within the digital space, alongside a supportive and coaching orientated approach to leadership.
