The role…
We are seeking a Marketing Manager (maternity cover) to lead the development, performance, and optimisation of our demand engine across the Media division and our Marketing Solutions product suite.
This role plays a critical part in accelerating revenue growth by designing and managing the full-funnel journey – from initial engagement and intent development to lead capture, nurturing, scoring, and sales readiness.
You will be responsible for building the frameworks, programmes, and insight-led workflows that convert audience interest into qualified opportunities. This includes shaping commercial narratives, aligning closely with Sales leadership, and ensuring the seamless movement of prospects through the pipeline.
Positioned as a senior member of the Marketing team, you will work collaboratively with Product, Media, Sales, Data and Brand colleagues to deliver coordinated and effective demand programmes that drive measurable commercial impact.
What you’ll be doing…
- Lead the full-funnel demand generation strategy, defining marketing plans, audience priorities, messaging themes, and channel approaches, aligned to commercial targeting.
- Oversee inbound and outbound lead generation programmes, ensuring strong targeting, segmentation, TAM alignment, and data integrity in partnership with the Data and Sales teams.
- Design and optimise lifecycle journeys including nurture flows, lead scoring, behavioural triggers, and intent-based workflows to drive progression toward sales readiness.
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks with Marketing Ops, delivering clear insight into funnel performance, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities.
- Translate commercial and sales insights into targeted marketing initiatives, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product and Brand.
- Manage, coach, and develop the Campaign Manager to ensure high-quality execution aligned with strategic priorities.
- Increased marketing-influenced pipeline including generated leads, Marketing Qualified Leads and Sales Accepted Leads
- Robust lead scoring that reflects true buying intent.
- Clear funnel visibility and alignment between Marketing, Sales, Product and Ops.
- High-quality collaboration with the Campaign Manager ensuring execution matches strategy.
What we’re looking for…
- Background in demand generation in B2B marketing or media environment.
- Proven track record of building pipeline-focused marketing programmes.
- Deep experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to speak confidently in sales language.
- Expertise in lifecycle marketing, lead scoring, audience segmentation, and behaviour-driven automation.
- Strategic yet hands-on; comfortable owning both direction and detail.
- Proactive problem-solver with a test-and-learn mindset.
- Clear communicator with stakeholder influence skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and impact-driven.
