Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Contract Data Integration Engineer within a niche team to provide data/integration, data quality, pipelines and integration layers to clients' platforms. Entailing pipeline development and maintenance, data quality profiling and monitoring, reconciliation and enrichment workflows, graph modelling, and stakeholder reporting on metrics. Ideally you will possess data quality analyst capabilities and/or focus on pipeline architecture, Kafka integration patterns, and export service development. These roles will entail writing production code, both will engage with data quality, and both will contribute to the broader service codebase. Our Contract Assignments are Inside IR35, hybrid working. Initially 6-9 months.
About the role/Experience with:
- Experience with Python for data pipelines, export services, ETL, reconciliation, profiling scripts
- Data quality assessment
- Apache Kafka
- PostgreSQL for data modelling, query design, migrations etc
- Data modelling and schema design
- REST API design
Ideally you will have:
- Experience of C# to be able to contribute to existing service/integration codebase
- Memgraph or other graph databases / Cypher
- Jupyter notebooks; ETL/ELT; Git/GitHub workflows and automated testing
- Elasticsearch, Data visualisation, CI/CD
About you (ideally):
As a Data Integration Engineer you’ll be integral to our client facing delivery teams, working with clients to design and build their technology enabled platform solutions.
● You will be responsible for providing technical thought leadership on client engagements
● You will actively contribute to development team activities and technical solutions where strong attention to detail is required
● You will be hands on in projects, taking a lead in the design and development of solutions as well as providing technical guidance and validation to the wider team, working on critical cloud-based complex application solutions that can be deployed automatically
● You will be responsible for stakeholder management, building client relationships and identifying new opportunities
