Main duties of the job

  • Hours:37.5 hours per week (30+ hours can be considered)
  • Location: Full time in the office for induction period. Once trained hybrid working will be facilitated with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

As a Senior Clinical Systems Analyst, you will:

  • Quickly develop expertise in key systems, such as RiO, SystmOne, IAPTus, Systems For Dentists and Lillie(full training provided)
  • Take an active role in theconfiguration, design, delivery and effective use of the Trust's Clinical Systems and Trust wide projects.
  • To liaise with clinical staff to understand and map current and future patient journeys and clinical processes in relation to clinical systems changes with consideration to Clinical Policies, local & national reporting requirements.
  • An understanding of safe delivery of patient care, identifying potential risks in processes/systems and problem-solving is key.
  • To share and apply clinical knowledge and expertise to the day to day work of the wider Clinical Systems Team.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential
  • Professional clinical qualification to degree level or above or Postgraduate PWP certificate or BPS PWP training course.
Desirable
  • Testing qualification e.g. ISTQB
  • Prince2 or equivalent experience

Experience

Essential
  • Substantial post qualifying experience in a clinical area
  • Experience and knowledge of the NHS and Clinical System environments
  • Sound IT skills including competence in Microsoft applications
