Learning and Development Systems Manager

Are you a systems-focused professional with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights and improving the user experience? We are looking for a Learning & Development System Manager to join our Learning & Development team on a 9-month fixed-term basis for maternity cover to lead the management, development and continuous improvement of the Trust's Learning Management System (LMS).
Main duties of the job
In this key role, you will be the Trust's subject matter expert for learning systems, ensuring the LMS provides accurate, reliable and accessible information to support learning, compliance and workforce development across an organisation of approximately 5,000 staff. You will lead on reporting, data quality, system improvements and upgrades, working closely with colleagues across Learning & Development, HR, Workforce, IT and operational services to ensure our systems meet business needs and support excellent patient care.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will:
- Have overall responsibility for managing, maintaining and developing the Trusts Learning Management System (LMS), additional E-Learning System(s) and supplementary modules or associated systems, in order to provide comprehensive learning and development (L&D) and reporting information management for all Trust Directorates.Provide high quality business-focussed reporting, monitoring and coordination services for Trust wide Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) initiatives and interventions.
- Lead projects that develop and enhance the Trusts LMS, working with external suppliers to implement new functionality and upgrades and overseeing accurate data transfer and security.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent professional knowledge and experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analysis, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience of managing, maintaining and developing electronic systems, databases or management information systems (such as Learning Managements Systems), with responsibility for ensuring data accuracy, system effectiveness and smooth system upgrades.
- Strong data analysis and reporting experience, including the ability to interpret complex information and present meaningful insights to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience of supporting users, troubleshooting system issues and delivering system improvements, working effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Experience administering or developing a Learning Management System (LMS), especially Moodle or Totara.
- Experience within the NHS, public sector or a highly regulated environment.
Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, reporting tools and data quality processes.
- Strong organisational, project management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to changing deadlines.
