PHP Developer

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to):

• Writing and maintaining clean, efficient vanilla PHP code for their web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
• Developing and integrating RESTful APIs to connect their players, cloud services, and admin systems.
• Working with MySQL databases to manage and optimize queries for performance.
• Handling real-time WebSocket communications for instant notifications and device updates.
• Implementing AJAX-based dynamic UI elements using JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Supporting and improving custom-built authentication system, including integration with Microsoft Azure.
• Managing Linux-based PHP environments, including debugging issues on deployed players.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong commercial experience in PHP development (Vanilla essential)
• Proficient in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (React is essential).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
