Business Development Manager - Enterprise & Regulated Markets
Location: UK with travel to client sites and Middle East as required

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to grow a small portfolio of high-value enterprise and public sector accounts. This role focuses on building trusted relationships shaping meaningful opportunities and developing long-term customer value across consulting managed services and platform-based solutions.
This is not a high-volume sales role. It suits someone who values depth credibility and long-term partnerships over transactional selling.
Your role involves:
- Building senior-level relationships within enterprise and public sector organisations
- Shaping opportunities from early engagement through to contract award
- Leading and contributing to procurement activity including RFQs, ITTs and RFPs
- Coordinating commercial responses pricing and value propositions
- Selling fixed-scope consulting and assessment engagements as entry points
- Growing accounts into long-term managed service relationships
- Identifying subscription or platform opportunities where they add clear value
- Navigating procurement compliance governance and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Working closely with delivery bid and commercial teams to support successful outcomes
- Managing a small number of named strategic accounts with a long-term view
You must have:
- Experience selling consulting or professional services into enterprise or public sector clients
- Experience responding to and influencing RFQs ITTs and RFPs
- Experience developing managed services or long-term service contracts
- Experience working in regulated industries such as government, financial services, healthcare energy or transport
- Exposure to cyber security cloud or data transformation services
- Experience selling or supporting platform or SaaS solutions alongside services
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders including CIO, CISO, CTO, procurement and commercial teams
- Strong judgement around opportunity qualification pricing and deal structure
This role is NOT suited for:
- High-volume transactional sales profiles
- Pure SME IT sales backgrounds
- Inbound-only SaaS sales experience
