Distribution Account Manager - Hybrid

To further expand their Channel presence they are looking to recruit a Distribution Sales Account Manager who has strong relationships within distribution, is analytical and a people and resource manager.
The Distribution Sales Account Manager is responsible for the overall sales activities and result of the Channel business in their target area. This will include, growing and maintaining revenue through Distribution and the Partner Programme. They are also directly responsible for growing and maintaining sales through Distribution in the target area, through growth in gross numbers, revenues, product placement and product breadth/profiling and product branding. They will work closely with others in the Channel sales team and the wider business as appropriate. This role will require you to be office based 3 days per week (non-negotiable) so living within the M3/M4 corridor is ideal
The successful candidate must have the following attributes that will ensure success:
- Demonstrable experience within an IT Channel Sales role and in creating and delivering close relationships with partners and customers.
- Experience of leading and developing others, through motivation and coaching.
- Results orientated, motivated by success, and achievement and be able to execute on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong presenter with effective negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Must be an enthusiastic team player with an innovative approach.
- Accountable for the work you produce.
- Able to work under pressure and be prepared to work in a fast moving and progressive environment where key objectives need to be met to pre-agreed timescales.
