Finance Transformation Analyst

Interim Finance Transformation Analyst | London - 3 days in the office | Jan - May contract - £350-400 umbrella.

Working for a leading construction firm you will be responsible for supporting on an ERP transformation; reconciling data between legacy systems and new Oracle Fusion.

Key Responsiblities:

Data Reconciliation & Validation-

  • Reconcile opening balances and historical transactions between Oracle R12 and Oracle Fusion across GL, AP, AR, FA, and other subledgers.
  • Validate trial balances, mapping to new chart of accounts and cost centre structures.

Variance Analysis & Issue Resolution

  • Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to resolve.
  • Document root causes and corrective actions; retest after fixes.

Controls & Audit Readiness

  • Maintain reconciliation packs with evidence and sign-offs suitable for external audit.
  • Support compliance with financial controls and SOX

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide clear reconciliation status reports and variance logs.
  • Communicate progress and blockers to project stakeholders.

Skills required

  • Strong financial accounting and controls experience
  • Exposure to Oracle is highly desirable
  • Experience in a systems migration/ implementation
  • Strong reconciliations experience
