Group Accountant

A fast-growing tech business is looking for a newly qualified Accountant to join its collaborative and forward-thinking finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the month-end close, cash flow reporting, and external financial reporting, while supporting wider finance improvement projects as the business continues to expand.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant, ACA or equivalent
• Working knowledge of IFRS (including IFRS 3, 9, and 15), provisions, and consolidations
• Experience in large or complex audits/accounts prep (listed businesses advantageous)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, adaptable, and confident working to tight deadlines

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key analysis
• Ensure accurate month-end close and correct accounting treatment across multiple entities
• Support tax reporting, including VAT returns and corporation tax computations with external advisors
• Prepare monthly cash flow reporting and analysis
• Support external financial reporting and statutory audit processes, contributing to the ongoing development of accounting policies and disclosures
