Group Finance Manager (City of London)

Group Consolidation Manager | Technology, PE backed | £75,000 - £85,000

I am currently partner with a Global Technology company who are looking for a Group Consolidation Manager to come and join a growing team. My client are UK based and have the group function in the UK however they have finance teams across the globe which you would work closely with.

This role is a replacement due to natural growth within the business and you will report into the Group Financial Controller. You will also have visibility across the Group and work with the CFO on ad-hoc projects. You will not have direct reports however their is the opportunity for this as the business continues to grow.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Lead on the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for the entire group.
• Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany transactions.
• Implement and optimise the group consolidation software to reduce time and create efficiencies.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting standards relevant to group accounting.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain robust internal controls around the consolidation processes.
• Support the Group Finance Controller and CFO with ad-hoc projects, related to mergers and acquisitions.

To be consider you will need:

• ACA qualified from practice and ideally from a top 10 practice firm.
• Have worked in a Group Consolidation team previously or have strong consolidation experience.
• Expertise in IFRS and worked with a multi-national business.
• Experience with multi-currency mainly Northern Hemisphere.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive consolidated financial statements.

For this opportunity you will be ACA qualified and ideally have worked in a similar position previously. Also, PE experience would be desirable however not essential, you will have worked in a large organisation with a complex matrix structure.

This role does not offer sponsorship and you will be required to be able to go to the office 2/3 days a week in central London.
