What you'll be doing

  • Running tax accounting from end to end: statutory account disclosures, group audit tax provisions, and posting tax entries through the group's finance systems
  • Building and refining the corporation tax budgeting/forecasting cycle, including instalment payments and cash tax planning, working alongside Finance and Treasury
  • Overseeing UK and EU VAT filings (digital tax-compliant software) and managing transfer pricing operations, including intercompany agreements and invoicing
  • Driving process improvement and automation across the tax function, and upskilling the wider team
  • Owning tax governance and risk documentation, keeping the function audit-ready
  • Mentoring a junior tax team member as part of their professional development
