IT Service Desk Analyst

We are seeking an ICT Service Desk Analyst to join our busy Service Desk team. Within this role, you will provide high-quality systems support and customer service, including support for business applications, identity management, laptops, desktops, and user access requirements.

This role is fully office based and the service runs between 08:00 - 17:00. You will be allocated either 08:00 - 16:30 shift or 08:30 - 17:00 shift.

Duties include:

  • As part of our busy Service Desk, you will support the provision of a comprehensive and efficient systems support service that delivers great customer service, including the support and administration of all line of business applications as well as identity management, laptops, desktops, and access requirements.
  • Provide specialist support to all software and hardware systems including AV configuration, event support and the security provision and maintenance of the staff identity and access management.
  • Provide a first and second line support service, engaging with internal and external customers, face to face, in remote office locations and remotely in conjunction with other colleagues across the department. 
  • Support ICT colleagues with project delivery and follow up support and participate in the evaluation of new digital solutions, UAT, project delivery and provide follow up support including knowledgebase updates.
  • Work with the wider Business to support and maintain endpoint devices and peripherals in line with the Asset Management lifecycle processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in an ICT environment supporting colleagues in the use of technology.
  • Diagnostic and analytical skills for effective Incident triage and resolution.
  • Substantial experience of 1st/2nd line support in a corporate environment, including experience of using AD, ITSM systems, MS Windows and MS Office365 package
  • Relevant knowledge of ITIL foundations and virtual environments along with MS Endpoint and 2FA.
  • Experience configuring and supporting desktop, mobile and peripheral hardware.
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and work on your own initiative. 
  • Ideally have completed or working towards a formal ICT related qualification.
  • Right to Work in the UK - Visa sponsorship is not available.

  • A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
