Learning & Development Trainer - Fixed term

We are currently recruiting x2 Learning and Development Trainers to join us on a fixed term basis, responsible for designing and delivering impactful training to colleagues across the business as part of our digital transformation rollout.

Contract Type: Temporary (until 31 March 2027), subject to funding approval.

Important Note: Funding for this role has been secured until 31 March 2026. While there is an acknowledged need for the role to continue beyond this date, continuation into the following year will be subject to our formal budget approval process.

Duties include:

  • Take ownership of designing and delivering high-quality learning for Salesforce and other systems
  • Build inclusive, learner-focused training using a blended approach (e.g., face-to-face, digital assets, guides, workbooks) that aligns with best practices in instructional and accessibility design
  • Deliver training to a wide range of audiences, from frontline teams to senior leaders, adapting approach based on learner needs and digital literacy
  • Convey technical and system-based information in a clear, accessible, and engaging way
  • Plan and facilitate a structured training rollout in collaboration with project leads
  • Evaluate training outcomes and apply insights to enhance delivery, materials, and learner support
  • Support post-training learning through follow-up interventions and resources
  • Develop a sustainable learning strategy to ensure ongoing support and training beyond the life of the project, including knowledge transfer, upskilling internal teams, and creating self-serve resources.
  • Work with business leads to establish a process for maintaining and updating learning materials in line with future system changes.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience designing and delivering system training to varied audiences
  • Experience supporting large-scale change initiatives or tech implementations
  • Learning design principles and adult learning theory
  • Knowledge of how to design and deliver impactful training for systems and processes
  • Understanding of Salesforce
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-focused environment.
