You’ll be doing....
This is a Junior Software (SCADA) Developer role focused on industrial data systems and automation technology.
Expect to work on:
- Industrial data + SAP integrations
- SCADA systems and manufacturing control software
- AWS IoT tools and connected devices
- SQL querying and stored procedures
- Grafana dashboards, alerts, and real-time reporting
- Basic IT networking in live production environments
- Supporting and training end users on new systems

Key criteria: Essential requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must meet all of the following:
- Be in your final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months
- Have no more than 12 months of full-time professional work experience (university placements, internships and summer jobs do not count)
- Hold (or be on track to achieve) a Degree or Master’s in: Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a closely related technical discipline
Right to Work
- Have the permanent right to live and work in the UK
- Be available to start the role no later than 30 September 2026
Technical capability:
- Working knowledge of SQL querying
- Understanding of data systems or databases
- Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS knowledge beneficial)
- Logical problem-solving ability
- Interest in industrial systems, automation, or manufacturing technology
You do not need to know everything but you must show strong technical foundations and a willingness to learn fast.
