Role: Workday Solution Architect (Finance Transformation)
📍 South East (Hybrid Working)
💰 £100,000 - £140,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
We are partnering with a high-growth UK business undergoing a major transformation of its finance technology landscape.
As part of a significant investment in systems and data, the organisation is implementing Workday Financials to modernise and streamline core finance processes. This is a key strategic programme with strong executive backing and long-term roadmap visibility. This is an opportunity to take a lead architectural role in shaping how Workday is designed, integrated, and optimised across the wider technology environment.
The Role
As a Workday Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering the target architecture across the Workday platform.
You will collaborate closely with technology, data, and finance teams to ensure Workday solutions are scalable, well-integrated, and aligned to enterprise standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the target architecture, design patterns, and standards for Workday Financials
- Provide architectural leadership across Workday implementations and enhancements
- Ensure seamless integration with wider systems and enterprise platforms
- Partner with delivery teams to guide solution design and ensure alignment with best practice
Key experience required:
We’re looking for strong Workday Financials expertise, supported by broad architecture and finance transformation experience.
- Proven experience as a Workday Financials Architect or Solution Architect
- Strong understanding of:
- Finance data structures, chart of accounts
- Subledger accounting and data lineage
- Experience designing Workday Integrations
