If so, this role is for you. We are working with a systematic hedge fund seeking a Lead Windows Engineer to design and build the organisation’s Windows infrastructure from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, implementation and ongoing management of enterprise Windows infrastructure
- Design and deploy core services including Active Directory, identity management and enterprise authentication
- Build and maintain the firm’s Windows Server environment across on-prem and cloud platforms

- Implement security controls, patching, monitoring and configuration management
- Partner with engineering, trading, operations and security teams to deliver a reliable platform
- Integrate infrastructure with trading systems, internal applications and external vendors
- Define infrastructure standards, documentation and operational best practices
- Infrastructure engineers are responsible for designing and maintaining the foundational systems that support business operations and applications across the organisation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in enterprise Windows infrastructure engineering
- Strong expertise with Windows Server environments and enterprise architecture
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, identity services and Group Policy
- Experience managing authentication and directory services that control access across corporate systems.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell
- Experience supporting virtualisation platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and hybrid infrastructure
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience implementing monitoring, patching and configuration management frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting skills across complex enterprise systems
