Data Engineer

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid role (Manchester, London or Edinburgh)

Salary: £60,000-£75,000

Essential Requirements:

• Strong Azure experience
• Python, Apache Spark, SQL
• Experience with either Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake
• Proven delivery of multiple solutions using Data Governance, Data Migration, Data Modelling, ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, and BI
• Delivery process understanding: Agile & DevOps, Git, APIs, containers, microservices, and data pipelines

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience with one or more of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft SQL/SSIS
• Experience building Data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Dataflows Gen2
• Good working knowledge of Lakehouse components : Delta Lake, Unity Catalog/One Lake, ML Flow, Databricks Asset Bundles, Fabric CICD, Real Time Analytics/Structured Streaming, etc
