Senior IT Risk Associate – Contract

London (Cannon Street → relocating near St Paul’s)

Technology Risk (1.5 Line of Defence)

Rate: £350/day Outside IR35

Senior IT Risk Associate required to support a major technology and cloud transformation programme. You’ll provide independent oversight and challenge to technology teams, ensuring effective risk management as infrastructure transitions from on-premise environments to AWS and GCP.

Key Focus

• IT risk and control assessments across systems, infrastructure, and change initiatives
• Cloud risk and control oversight (AWS / GCP environments)
• Translating regulatory, audit, and policy requirements into practical controls
• Governance reporting, audit readiness, and stakeholder engagement

Experience Required

• Strong IT risk, controls, or technology audit background
• Knowledge of recognised frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
• Understanding of IT General Controls, cybersecurity, and cloud environments
• Experience working in regulated or complex technology organisations
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
