Senior Data Engineer (AWS Essential)

Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)

Salary: up to £60,000

Gravitas is working with a multinational energy company, focused on the transition to low-carbon energy.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of data-driven decision-making within the company.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS services (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Glue, Lake Formation).
• Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data warehouse design (Kimball, Lakehouse).
• Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to manage projects effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with DBT, Apache Iceberg, Docker (nice to have).
