Senior Java Developer – Capital Markets | Up to £125k | London (Hybrid)

I’m currently working with a city-based financial services organisation looking to hire a Senior Java Developer to join their growing engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a Head of Engineering pathway within 12–24 months, while working on high-performance, business-critical systems in a capital markets environment.

✅ Key requirements:

• 7+ years’ Java experience within Financial Services / Capital Markets
• Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience with multi-threading, performance tuning and profiling
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Hands-on with Git, Maven, JUnit, Spock, Mockito
• Proven ability to work on high-performance, scalable systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

📍 Location: London city (3 days onsite)

💰 Salary: Up to £125,000
